Ashleigh-Ann Dussard

Ashleigh-Ann Dussard is an attorney at Kissoon Law, having joined in April 2025. She brings a solid foundation in civil litigation, developed during her time as an associate in the Litigation Department of one of Barbados’ leading law firms. During that time, she was actively involved in a broad range of matters, with a focus on personal injury, debt collection, and commercial disputes.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws with Honours from The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, obtained in 2019. During her undergraduate studies, Ashleigh-Ann distinguished herself as an advocate and student leader. She was awarded Best Oralist and winner of the CGF Mooting Competition (2018), winner of the UWI Inter-Faculty Debate Competition (2018), and named most outstanding councilor on the UWI Guild of Students.

She completed her Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law at The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2021, and thereafter obtained her Legal Education Certificate from the Norman Manley Law School in 2023. While at law school, Ashleigh-Ann co-founded the Advocacy Society, promoting advocacy skills and public interest engagement among students and communities.

Since joining the firm, Ashleigh-Ann has developed a practice focused on personal injury, insurance law, entertainment law, debt collection and civil and commercial litigation.

Ashleigh-Ann is also skilled in legal research and drafting, having authored legal opinions in the areas of employment law, personal injury, commercial disputes, and debt recovery. She is particularly drawn to trial advocacy and enjoys the dynamic and strategic aspects of litigation practice.
